Everything that governs how HireAcreator, our creators, and our clients work together. Please read carefully — by using the platform, you agree to the terms below.

Privacy Policy

HireAcreator ("we", "us") respects the privacy of every visitor, client, and creator using hireacreator.in. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under Indian data-protection law (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), role (client / creator / admin).
Profile data: creator bio, portfolio links, service list, city, price, images.
Verification data: Aadhaar / PAN / GSTIN details you submit for KYC. Documents are stored encrypted and visible only to authorised HireAcreator reviewers.
Transactional data: hire requests, quotes, payments, invoices, messages, reviews.
Technical data: IP address, device / browser info, activity timestamps, cookies.

2. How we use your data

To operate and secure the platform (login, matching, payments, notifications).
To verify identity via KYC and prevent fraud, spam, and impersonation.
To provide customer support and enforce our Terms.
To send transactional emails (bookings, quotes, receipts, review invites). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Sharing your data

We share only the minimum data required with:

Payment providers (Razorpay) to process escrow, subscriptions and refunds.
Email providers (Brevo) to send transactional notifications.
KYC providers (DigiLocker / Signzy, when enabled) to verify identity documents.
Law enforcement if legally compelled to.

We never sell your data.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 3 years after closure for tax and audit compliance. Verification documents are deleted 6 months after successful verification unless required by law.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by writing to privacy@hireacreator.in. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use cookies only for session authentication and remembering your preferences (e.g. intro-screen dismissed). We do not use advertising trackers.
